In intrauterine insemination (IUI) procedure, sperm is directly placed into the uterus using a small catheter.
The Aim is to deliver healthy sperm to female egg.
IUI is cheap and widely used treatment in clinic for fertilization .
It is important to assess and check all reports to tell which fertility treatment will be most beneficial for you.
Ovulation studies are done along with sperm wash for male partner and then on appropriate day sperm are inserted in uterus through small catheter which can be performed on OPD basis.
Patient is followed up to check for pregnancy after 2-3 wks.
